Who is Eligible for the SAT Exam?

Reading Test
The reading test includes:
- One or two passages on a globally significant topic (from a famous speech/document)

In the Reading test, candidates are assessed on:

Writing and Language Test
There are four different texts in the writing and language section, followed by 11 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on each text. The subsequent section presents passages of 400 to 450 words where candidates identify and correct grammar and punctuation mistakes. Questions from History, Science, Social Science, or other topics may be covered, and graphs and graphics may be included. The writing and language test assesses:
- The expression and presentation of the writer’s ideas
- The candidate’s grammatical usage and punctuation skills
Mathematics Test
- Solve 19 questions in Algebra using formulas
- Answer 17 questions involving Analyzing and Data Solving problems
- Respond to 16 questions in advanced Mathematics using various formulas and expressions
- Geometry and trigonometry questions are also included in this section.

Digital SAT
Each assessment in the digital SAT Suite has two sections: the Reading and Writing section and the Math section. In every assessment in the SAT Suite, including the SAT, students have 64 minutes to complete the Reading and Writing section and 70 minutes to complete the Math section. Each Reading and Writing module lasts 32 minutes, while each Math module lasts 35 minutes. When students complete the Reading and Writing section, they are moved to the Math section after a 10-minute break between the sections.
Total testing time for the digital SAT Suite is 2 hours and 14 minutes for each assessment (SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and PSAT 8/9).

SAT Mock Test
SAT mock test or practice test helps improve the skills required to score high. Before the SAT exam, competitors can review mock tests to assess their skills in each section. The SAT exam lasts 154 minutes. Practice with the mock tests to qualify for the exam with a maximum score.
SAT Score
SAT Score ranges from 400 to 1600. Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (EBRW) section scores are aggregated to get the final score. For each section, the scale will be 200 – 800 in 10-point increments. Scoring 1200 plus overall marks is considered a good score on the SAT.

SAT Score Validity
SAT Score is valid for a period of 5 years. Applicants are allowed to take the SAT examination many times.

SAT Eligibility
