Germany seeks to boost immigration of Indian skilled workers
The German Secretary of State at the Federal Foreign Office, Susanne Baumann, said on Tuesday, 1st February, that her country needs experienced workers, and the door is open for young and skilled professionals of India in a few sectors.

Susanne Baumann stated, “The demand for skilled professionals in Germany is high because of economic and demographic factors.” She was also accompanied by Leonie Gebers, German State Secretary and Social Affairs to India, who paid their visit to Delhi's Don Bosco Technical Institute.
Leonie Gebers expressed her thoughts on the young Indian skilled market: "India is a great country and has a lot of talent, whereas Germany has updated its immigration legislation, and to cater to the German labour market needs, we are looking for Indians in different sectors to find ways to cooperate because, in the end, both sides can profit from cooperation."
