Key Information on Serbian Visas for Indian Citizens

Indian nationals with valid Schengen, UK, or US visas can still enter Serbia visa-free for up to 90 days. Those without such visas must apply for a Serbian visa.

Serbian Visa Overview for Indians in 2024

In recent years, Serbia has become an attractive destination for Indians due to its educational opportunities, economic prospects, and programs like Residency by Investment (RBI). Serbian universities are also increasingly popular among Indian students for their affordable tuition and English-language programs, which offer the same credentials as local degrees.

However, as of January 1, 2023, Serbia ended visa-free travel for Indian citizens and introduced stricter entry requirements following EU recommendations. Indian travelers are now advised to obtain a visa from the Serbian Embassy in New Delhi or their country of residence.

Note: Indian citizens with valid Schengen, UK, or US visas can still enter Serbia without a visa for up to 90 days.
