Bangladesh PM to Depart New Delhi for Home Today; Arrival Expected at 8 PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will depart New Delhi for home this afternoon after attending Narendra Modi's oath-taking ceremony for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister of India.
A special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage, is scheduled to leave Palam Air Force Station, the VVIP airport in New Delhi, at 5:00 PM (India time).
Bangladesh High Commissioner to India, Md Mustafizur Rahman, will see her off at the airport.
The flight is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 8:00 PM (Bangladesh time) today.
Sheikh Hasina arrived in New Delhi on Saturday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the Modi government's cabinet at the invitation of her Indian counterpart.
