VFS Global, which has been collaborating with the Bulgarian government since 2008, now operates 92 Bulgarian Visa Application Centres in 16 countries. Applicants can benefit from various services, including SMS updates, courier return services, and access to VFS Global’s Premium Lounge for expedited processing.

Following Bulgaria’s accession to the Schengen Zone by air and sea on March 31, 2024, the country has started issuing Schengen visas, with plans to establish additional visa application centres in more locations soon.
