Brandenburg Gate to be transformed into massive goal for Euro 2024
The Brandenburg Gate is set to become a Tor in more ways than one, as Berlin announces that the city will transform the attraction into a massive goal for the 2024 Euros.
Brandenburger Tor will become giant goal for 2024 Euros
Crowning the “mother of all fan miles”, Berlin’s iconic Brandenburger Tor is set to be transformed into a gigantic goalpost for the 2024 Euros this summer.
The city of Berlin has announced that the fan mile along Straße des 17. Juni will also be kitted out with a “pop-up park”. All matches played by the German national team will be broadcast on screens along the fan mile, along with many other matches scheduled for the tournament.
Euros matches will be played in 10 German cities during the tournament, with the first game, between Germany and Scotland, taking place on June 14 in Munich.
